Flashback Arrestor
The Flashback Arrestor is essential when
using any type of hydrogen fuel cell. It
is fitted in conjunction with the fuel
cell to prevent any possible flashbacks.
These
devices are required in any applications
that involve flammable combustive gasses
entering into the engine.
All
vehicles at some time will experience
“backfiring’’ – the uncontrolled burning
of the combustion charge. In this event,
our flash back arrestor will prevent any
possible damage to your fuel cell.
Our
flash back arrestor is capped each end
with brass fittings, sealing in a series
of stainless steel gauze baffles
separated by regular partitioning with
fine brass wool.
Our
arrestors can sustain an indefinite
number of flashbacks without risk of the
flame front progressing any further.
NOTE;
For added protection you can attach
another bubbler just before the air
intake port.
